People are very confused by these 'fake shirts' Penneys is selling

For those of you who want to wear just one quarter of a shirt.

IF YOU’VE BEEN in Penneys recently (and who among us has not), you might have spotted these things lining the walls.

Six euro for one quarter of a shirt? Has Penneys finally lost the plot?

The ‘fake shirts’ have perplexed quite a few people:

Yes, they look slightly bonkers. But WAIT.

These fake shirts aren’t as ridculous as they seem – they were called ‘dickeys‘ in the olden days, and are worn to get a ‘layered’ look without the extreme warmth that often accompanies it. Fashion!

Personally, we think they’re genius. Bless you, Penneys, for accommodating our love for collars and hatred of sweating.
